Valentine's Day
Cards for Seniors
As we head into Valentine’s Day, we’re excited to launch the DIG Valentine’s Day Card Drive, beginning the week of February 8th at Dallas Sportsplex. This is a meaningful opportunity for our athletes to spread kindness and connection to seniors in our local community.
💌 Valentine’s Day Card Drive (February 8th–12th)
All DIG athletes will be asked to write a Valentine’s card during practice. Messages should be thoughtful, positive, and encouraging—simple notes that will bring a smile to someone’s day.
Cards will be delivered to assisted living centers across the DFW area, helping remind residents that they are seen, valued, and cared for.
Guidelines for Cards:
-
Handwritten by athletes
-
Positive, kind, and age-appropriate messages
-
First names only (no last names or personal contact info)
Drop-Off / Collection Location:
-
Cards will be collected during practice
-
All cards will be organized and delivered by DIG to nursing homes throughout DFW.
❤️ Valentine’s Practice Spirit
To celebrate the week, athletes are encouraged to wear Valentine’s-themed attire—red, pink, hearts, fun socks, or themed shirts—during practices that week.
Thank you for helping us share love, gratitude, and connection with our community. We’re proud of our DIG athletes for using their voices and hearts to make a difference this Valentine’s Day.
