Is Academy right for your player?

Academy is a club prep style program the focuses on individual skill development of the athlete while introducing them to competitive volleyball in the North Texas Region. Players in Academy often play multiple sports. The practice and game/tournament schedule is a modified version of club to provide players with more flexibility to accommodate other activities while being fully committed to their teams. Players have a 1.5 hr skills training session on Sundays and a 1.5 hr team practice during the week. Teams will compete in competitive league play and two local NTR sanctioned tournaments. All practices and league games will be held at the Dallas Sportsplex. NTR tournaments are located in the greater DFW area.

How to Prepare for Tryouts

• If you are new to the club, follow the DIG VBC social media to stay informed on upcoming events (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, etc.)

• Get to know our exceptional coaching team by attending camps and clinics

• Ask coaches for feedback on areas for improvement

• Determine which team is the best fit for your athlete by getting to know the coaches, understanding the team commitment, cost and schedule
