Give a DIG Family welcome to Tricia Roos, our new Director of Coaching and Recruitment!

Tricia has worked in the DFW volleyball community since 2005 coaching both high school and club volleyball.  Her volleyball coaching record can speak to her knowledge of the game and pursuit for excellence with her teams. Over 14 seasons as the head volleyball coach at Bishop Lynch High School, she amassed 420 wins and 139 losses (75% winning percentage). Under her leadership, her teams won five TAPPS 5A/6A state championships (2008, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015), three appearances in the state finals (2009, 2010, 2016), four semi-final appearances (2011, 2017, 2018, 2019) and 1 quarterfinal appearance (2020). Tricia also received the District Coach of the Year on numerous occasions as well as the TAPPS Coach of the Year among all sports in 2015.

Her teams have been nationally ranked and state ranked among both public and private schools on numerous occasions. Dozens of athletes have gone to play at the college level with most playing critical roles on their college teams at schools such as LSU, Baylor, Boston College, SMU, Loyola Maryland, St. Francis University, Tulane, St. Mary’s College, and many others.

During her tenure at Bishop Lynch, she also coached at Skyline juniors for 6 years, qualifying all of the teams she coached for Nationals. Additionally, she served as the Director of Admissions for 16 years and worked with over 9,000 families during the admissions process.  Tricia will be leading the DIG coaching staff and athletes to be the best they can be through the implementation of consistent processes and training across the club, select and academy programs.

Outside of volleyball, Tricia has three children: two on earth and one in heaven, Cameron (10), Annabelle (deceased) and Andie (5) and a husband, Jonas. She enjoys coaching 5-year-old soccer and cheering for Cameron on the baseball field. She is extremely excited to work with athletes of all ages.
