Favorite core value at DIG

Yolanda’s favorite core value is RESPECT. “It’s incredibly important that you respect yourself, your coaches, your teammates and your opponents in the game of volleyball,” says Yolanda. You respect yourself by always working your hardest and not cutting corners in competition or in practice. You respect your coaches and teammates by listening and valuing their opinions and advice. You respect your opponent by never giving up and showing good sportsmanship on and off the court. When you do these things, you’ll find success.

Personal

In her spare time, Coach Yolanda spends a lot of time watching her 15-year-old granddaughter play volleyball and spending time with her family.
